Who we are
Domopay was born from a simple idea: to transform the world of rentals into a more transparent, secure, and meritocratic experience for everyone.
We are a team of professionals, but first and foremost, we have been landlords and tenants ourselves. We have personally experienced the sector’s problems: landlords dealing with years of lawsuits and unpaid rents, tenants excluded from perfect homes due to unclear selection processes.
We understood that a new approach was needed. That is why we are building Domopay: a platform that gives good tenants the recognition they deserve and provides landlords with concrete tools to reduce risks and complications.
Our goal? To create a platform where tenants, agencies, and landlords can finally speak the same language: trust, transparency, and innovation.
Tenant Screening
Choosing the right tenants is critical for your peace of mind and protecting your investment. The wrong tenant can cause damage to your property, fail to pay rent, and make you regret renting it out.
Traditional tenant screening, based on pay slips and tax declarations, is prone to forgery and has little use to predict tenant’s payment behavior.
Publicly available data are slow to obtain and do not contain information regarding evictions or missed payments, and thus have very limited use for tenant screening.
Domopay employs AI and open banking technologies to measure tenant’s affordability to pay rent: this online check is quick (you get the results in seconds), impossible to falsify, and is extremely accurate in predicting the tenant’s ability to pay rent on time.
This technology, successfully used by major banks for loans and mortgages, has been brought to Italy for the first time by Domopay to serve property owners and estate agents.
Tenant’s privacy is strongly protected, as the landlord does not see any income or bank account information, and tenant’s credit information is accessed only by Experian Italy, which is a credit agency authorized by Banca d’Italia to collect and process credit information for Italian citizens.

We partner with world leading payment processors to provide the highest security standards in the industry. Account data is encrypted using AES-256 and is stored in secure hosting infrastructures.

Data is encrypted using 256-bit encryption and is transmitted with Industry-standard Secure Socket Layer (SSL) and HTTPS to create a secure tunnel for your data, making it impossible to be stolen.

Which complies with internationally recognized security and privacy standards, including ISO/IEC 27001 (Information Security Management), ISO/IEC 27017 (Cloud Security), ISO/IEC 27018 (Cloud Privacy), ISO/IEC 27701 (Privacy Information Management).
Fraud Detection
DomoPay employs various automated measures to detect and prevent fraud. In addition, our security team actively monitors accounts for suspicious activity.
